About Me

I've been surfing since I was so young that I can't even remember when I started. My home life wasn't easy, and surfing became my refuge, providing me with peace in the midst of chaos. When I turned 18, I faced a critical choice at a crossroads in my life. I had to decide between continuing down a path similar to the challenging one I grew up in or choosing a better, healthier life. I opted for the positive, healthy path and never looked back.

In 2012, I relocated to Santa Cruz, where I began to really take my surfing seriously. I surrounded myself with a community that helped me learn and grow. In addition to surfing, I am a student of Interior Architecture and a nanny.  When I am not doing any of those things, I enjoy activities like mountain biking, running in the redwoods, embarking on long road trips to the mountains, and generally immersing myself in the outdoors as much as possible.

Despite spending most of the year by the ocean due to my sport, I make an effort to experience different aspects of nature to stay true to myself and keep my love for surfing alive. This has made me more environmentally conscious beyond just coastal areas and has introduced me to people who have positively impacted my life. Cultivating relationships with professional athletes outside of the surfing world also keeps me inspired and motivated.

I've been self-supporting since the age of 12, which has taught me valuable lessons about dedication, drive, and success. I incorporate these values into my training, competitions, and daily life.

I've made surfing a way of life—competing, training, coaching, and serving as an ambassador for the sport. I find great joy in giving back to the community through acts like coaching, teaching, and working. Regardless of what I do, I always strive to do it in the most modest, humble, kind, genuine, encouraging, and inclusive manner possible.
